I am a Freelance trainer and my main technical interests are C, C++, Java,
ASP, Distributed Web Technology and Software Quality Assurance.
I deliver Java™ training for the QA
Group, and deliver TickIT related training for LRQA,
the rest of the work is usually direct with clients. I develop and
sell test suites through TFJ Ltd, using the brand name TheTestPlace.
My main non technical interest is wine and golf and I have a
section on some of the wine producers that
I have visited.

The Test Place Ltd, The Hosting Place Ltd and Sumit UK Limited
Formerly a director of Plum Hall Europe Ltd and a
manager of BSI Quality Assurance Software Products Services
(responsible for conformance testing programme including the European
C Compiler Validation Service). I have spent considerable time on
standards committees include the BSI
and ISO C standards committees. I am largely cured of standards
committees at the moment, you just cannot tell when you will be struck
down again though, but BSI's attitude to people who give their time for free sure
helps keep me away.
